What changes the price

The size of the area. This is the single biggest factor. An upper lip takes a few minutes; full legs take considerably longer, and the price follows the time and the consumables involved.

Whether you buy singles or a course. Hair grows in cycles, and only hair in its active growth phase responds to laser at the moment it is treated. That is why treatment is sold in courses rather than one-offs, and why a course of six is priced below six single sessions. Comparing a clinic on its single-session price alone will mislead you.

How many sessions you personally need. This varies with hair colour, hair thickness, the area, and your own hair cycle. Six is the standard course length, but some people book top-ups afterwards and some need fewer. It is settled at consultation, not from a website.

The equipment. Different systems suit different skin tones, and machine type affects both what a clinic can safely treat and what it charges. We use the Soprano Titanium. Ask any clinic what they run and whether it suits your skin tone before you book.

Is a course of six worth it over single sessions?

Arithmetically, yes, for almost every area. Underarms are £70 as a single session and £350 for six, the equivalent of about £58 per session. Bikini is £100 single and £395 for six, roughly £66 each. The saving grows with the size of the area: full legs are £275 single and £1,375 for six.

The practical argument is stronger than the arithmetic one. Because of how hair cycles work, a single session on its own is best thought of as a trial rather than a treatment.

What about full body?

Whole body is £500 as a single session and £2,600 for a course of six. It is the largest area we treat and takes the longest appointment. Many people instead combine two or three areas: underarm and bikini together is £140 single and £700 for six, which is less than buying the two separately.
